Have you made your way to the nearest theater to see UP yet?! If you haven’t? This latest Pixar animation movie is a must see!

The premise of the movie revolves around Carl Fredericksen, a balloon salesman at the age of 78.  The story start off with young Carl meeting his lady love Ellie, where they both share a love for adventure and the dream of going to the “land of the lost” in South America. We fast forward to today,  when Ellie pass away due to old age. Carl remembers a “cross your heart” promise that he made to Ellie, to take her to the “land of the lost”. When Carl accidently hit a construction worker, he was forced to go to a retirment home, but before they can take him away, he spends all night tying thousands of balloons to his house and travel to South America to fulfill his and Ellie’s dream. This is when he got stuck with 8 year old Russell, who accidnetly got stowaway aboard.  Russell also had a dream, to get “assisting an elderly” scouts badge. So together, they embark on this crazy adventure, encoutering talking dogs, evil villan, and a rare bird that Russell named Kevin.

I’ve managed to watch this movie 3 times now… once with my brother, once with my buddy, and once with my boyfriend… and I enjoyed all 3 times of it. The movie tugs at your heart strings and it definitely jerked some tears out of me. Besides the adventure that Carl and Russell goes through, it also showed the various kinds of love and kindness…and this article makes this movie just that much better!
